How do I add a Working With Children check?
This article explains how to add your Working with Children Check details to your volunteer profile.
Be Collective's Working With Children/Vulnerable People check feature is currently only available to Australian users.
If you're a volunteer, Be Collective allows you to record the details of your Working With Children checks (or the equivalent in your state/territory) on your personal profile.
Does Be Collective verify Working With Children check details? No – Be Collective only allows the details of a Working With Children check to be saved to a profile, and digital versions of the check (e.g. a scanned document) cannot be uploaded for security reasons.
All background checks must be verified by the volunteer manager when they review your application.
Record your Working With Children check
Recording your Working With Children check is easy, and the process is the same whether you're recording your first check or adding a new check after an old check has expired.
Open My dashboard, then the Profile tab
In the Working with Children/Vulnerable People Check section, click + Add new/replace (or use this to replace an existing check)
In the pop-up, enter your check details in full
Click Save
Once saved, your check will be shown on your profile as Current. Any previous checks that have since expired will also be shown here.
