How do I export my organisation's social impact report?

This article shows group managers how to export a social impact report for their group.

Reporting is available only to Be Collective Plus/Pro subscribers. If your group is subscribed to Be Collective Starter, you can see a 90-day snapshot of your Social Impact report.

Export the social impact report

1. Open your group management page
2. Click the Reporting tab

You'll be shown a live report across a specified date range, shown on the right. This is year-to-date by default but can be edited to any date range you need.

The social impact report includes:

• How many volunteers have participated in your volunteering opportunities

• How many hours were volunteered

• The social impact value of those opportunities

How is social impact value calculated? Social impact value is calculated using volunteer hours logged against your group's volunteer opportunities, multiplied by a value specific to the region you're in. This value is based on current local research on the value of volunteer work.

• In the UK, this value is £8.21 GBP, based on research conducted by nidirect https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/national-minimum-wage-and-living-wage.

• In Australia, this value is $27.45 AUD, based on research conducted by Volunteering Australia https://www.volunteeringaustralia.org/.

• In New Zealand, this value is $21.30 NZD, based on research conducted by Stats NZ https://www.stats.govt.nz/.

The report exports and downloads as a PDF for the date range you selected.
