How do I organise my groups in a hierarchy?

A parent group can represent a national or regional organisation, with child groups for branches or initiatives. Parent owners/admins can manage activity across child groups.

Create or manage hierarchy structure

1. Open the parent group management page

2. Open the more menu (⋮) → Edit group

3. Open the Organisation section

4. Use Subgroups & folders to add a folder or subgroup

You can also add a subgroup from hierarchy tools on Manage my groups when hierarchy features are available for your plan.

Adding a child group opens the create-group wizard with the parent already set. Finish General → Appearance → Details → Applications as usual. Plan selection is optional afterward via Manage plan.

Opportunities visibility for child groups can be controlled in the parent group's Settings.
