Navigating my volunteer profile
You can access the various sections of your Be Collective individual profile using the navigation bar. If you are logged in as an individual (i.e. a volunteer), your navigation bar should look like this:
Summary The Summary tab takes you to your dashboard, which is your default view after signing in to Be Collective. From here, you can see a snapshot of your volunteering activity and suggested opportunities.
My Volunteering The My Volunteering tab takes you to a list of all volunteering opportunities you've applied to, past, present and future. You can also see hours logged on individual opportunities you've completed.
Profile Your Profile is where you add your additional personal information, including your skills and interests. Adding these details is very important in enhancing your volunteer experience, as the more details you provide, the easier it is to find and apply for suitable opportunities. How do I complete my Be Collective profile? For more information on completing your profile, see How do I update my Be Collective profile?. Social record As you complete volunteer opportunities, your Social Record will grow into a verified volunteering resume, which can not only be included in applications to opportunities on Be Collective but also support applications for paid employment and study. All of your volunteer hours can be included on your social record, along with any testimonials you receive from the groups you volunteer with.
Fundraising If you find any groups on Be Collective with an active donations module, you can choose to fundraise on their behalf. If you do so, any fundraisers you run will be shown in this section.
Rewards and certificates Eligible organisations can offer social ocredits for volunteering, including businesses who promote opportunities from non-profits and community groups they partner with. On the Rewards tab, you can view any credits you've earned through volunteering, and redeem them for rewards from driving lessons and advanced training courses to free cinema tickets.
Organisations may also issue certificates in recognition of your volunteer efforts, and any certificates you receive in Be Collective will be available in this section of your dashboard for download at any time.
Settings The settings tab can be used to update your basic account details, such as your name, email and password. You can also control the email notifications you receive and access your privacy settings.
My family group If you use Be Collective as a parent or guardian to monitor approve volunteer activity for a child under the age of 16, another tab will be shown where you can access and manage your family group. If you don't have a family group, this tab will not be shown in the navigation bar.
