Partnerships explained

Forming a partnership with another group on Be Collective enables two groups to share de-personalised information on volunteer activity, and volunteer opportunities. Any one group can partner with as many organisations as it wishes.

Partnering is particularly useful for volunteer resource centres looking to capture the social impact of volunteering in the area they service. By using partnerships to connect with local non-profits and community groups in the area they service, the resource centre can easily include volunteer activity from partner groups in their reports. This can also be used by government organisations to monitor the success of initiatives aimed at developing volunteering.

This can also be a useful tool for organisations working in similar areas looking to share a volunteer pool, and for private sector companies working with specific non-profits as part of their corporate social responsibility efforts.
