How do I add a guardian to my family group?

To add a guardian to your family group, you first need to create a family group. This allows you as a parent or guardian – and any other parents or guardians who join the family group – to oversee the activity of all under 13s within that group.

Add a guardian

  1. Open My dashboard, then the My family group tab

  2. Click Add a member

  3. Click Adult

  4. Enter the email address of the guardian you'd like to invite

  5. Click Send invitation

Any adult in your family group automatically becomes a guardian and can review volunteer activity for all children in the group.

If the user is already registered on Be Collective, they can accept the invitation from their account. If they are not registered, they will be invited to register and prompted to accept the invitation to your family group as part of registration.
