How do I cancel an event?

Events are available exclusively to Be Collective Pro and Full Platform subscribers.

If you are on the Starter or Plus plan and need the Events feature to manage your group's volunteering opportunities, you can purchase a paid add-on. This gives you the flexibility to access and utilise the Events feature without upgrading your entire plan.

Cancel an event

1. Open the group management page of the group that owns the event

2. Open the Events tab

3. Find the event in the table

4. Click Cancel in that event's row actions (next to Edit)

If you can't see this link, or if clicking the link generates an error message, this means your event can't be cancelled — this may be because active volunteer opportunities exist under it, or the event has already taken place.
