How do I search for members in a hierarchy?

This article shows group managers how to search for members across a group hierarchy.

Hierarchies are available only to Be Collective Full Platform subscribers. See Be Collective's product plans & pricing.

Search hierarchy members

  1. Open group management for the parent group you administer

  2. Open the Members tab

  3. Click the drop-down arrow in the Group:… box

  4. Select Select all to view members across all hierarchy groups, or tick specific groups

  5. Search by name in the search box, or click Advanced filter to filter by criteria (e.g. language)

  6. Add more filters as needed — there is no limit

  7. Optionally click Save as saved list to save the filter set as a Smart List

With Select all selected, members who belong to multiple groups may appear more than once in the results.
