How do I withdraw an invitation to an opportunity I've sent to a volunteer?

This article shows group managers how to withdraw an invitation sent to a member for a volunteer opportunity.

If you'd like to revoke an invitation you've sent one of your group members to join an opportunity you've posted, you can do so easily at any time.

Withdraw an opportunity invitation

1. Open your group management page (How do I manage my group?)

2. Open the Volunteer activity tab

3. Open the Invited tab to show all pending invitations

4. Click the X icon at the end of the row for the member and opportunity you'd like to withdraw the invitation from

5. Confirm you'd like to withdraw the invitation when prompted, or click Cancel if you've changed your mind

The group member will receive an email notification letting them know their invitation to the opportunity has been withdrawn.

Members you've withdrawn invitations from can be found under Declined in the Volunteer activity tab of your group management page, with the status of Invitation-withdrawn.

Can I re-invite a member to an opportunity after I've withdrawn an invitation?
