How do I request a partnership through a website integration?

This article shows group managers how to request a partnership through a Be Collective integration hosted on a volunteer organisation's website.

If you manage a group on Be Collective and you'd like to request a partnership with a group that hosts a Be Collective integration on their website (the 'host'), such as your local volunteer resource centre, you can do so quickly and easily by logging into Be Collective through their website.

Request a partnership

1. Go to the host's website and open the organisation login page — usually under Volunteer management, Organisations, or similar

2. Log in through the embedded login form using the same credentials you use for the Be Collective web app (skip this step if you are already logged in to Be Collective)

3. On your group management screen in the host's Be Collective website integration, click Request partnership for any group(s) you manage as an owner or administrator

You can send partnership requests to the host from as many groups as you like.

The host will need to approve or deny your partnership request.

As part of this process, they can also choose to automatically endorse any opportunities you post on Be Collective, which means they'll be shown on the host group's opportunities feed. Endorsed opportunities are still owned and operated by you.

This can be particularly useful if the host is the volunteer resource centre for your region, as it means your opportunities will be advertised to a larger audience of potential volunteers.
