Scheduling and rostering
This article explains how Be Collective's scheduling and rostering features can be used to manage volunteers more efficiently.
Be Collective's scheduling and rostering features make it quicker and easier than ever to manage your volunteer base.
With our best-in-class features, you can:
Compare the shifts a volunteer has applied for against your live volunteer calendar
Quickly assign volunteers to shifts they haven't applied for, if the shifts they have applied for are no longer available
Easily create and manage both fixed and flexible volunteer schedules, with end dates for any recurring rules you create. This can be done for both opportunity types, for example:
tasks (e.g. updating website for 2 hours per week, 5 hours per month or 10 hours in total)
shifts (e.g. helping out at an animal shelter from 9am - 12pm every Monday and Tuesday)
Create recurring shifts with multiple rules and end dates for each rule, within the same opportunity. For example:
Every Monday from 9am - 12pm until 1 June, AND
Every alternate Tuesday from 12pm - 4pm until 1 July
View your volunteer schedule at a glance, update shifts and assign volunteers to opportunities, all in an easy calendar view
