What reports are available to Be Collective Full Platform users?

This article focuses on the Analytics hub as it’s only available to Be Collective Full Platform users.

Be Collective's Full Platform plan offers our clients access to our most comprehensive suite of reporting options. All options available to Be Collective's Full Platform Plan include the following:

Summary: high level statistics on volunteer hours, fulfilment and impact value (no customisation or filters).

Key insights - high level dashboard on volunteer opportunity engagement, volunteer demographics across gender, age, causes, location of opportunities and location of volunteers (no customisation or filters).

Analytics hub - full reporting suite completely customisable with filters across metrics. Provides the ability to filter and customise reports to your organisation requirements.

Export data – CSV downloads of your group’s members, hierarchy groups, partners, opportunities, opportunity application, events and custom fields.

How do I use Be Collective for reporting?

Accessing Be Collective's Analytics hub reports is easy. First, open your group management page, then click the Reporting tab in the navigation bar. Next, click Analytics hub to access your reports.

The first time you log into your Analytics hub, the system will collate all your data for you. This should only take a few minutes - recommend you grab a cup of tea or coffee while you wait for it to be ready.

Let’s look at breadth of reports available. We’ve built filters to allow you to see your data in infinite configurations. Your reporting information is presented in a range of graphs, tables, pie charts, bar charts and even interactive maps. (How much of it) can also be exported as a PDF and/or CSV document. How do I export reports and data from the Analytics hub?

Inside the Analytics hub, you can select to review four different pages of reports:

Reports on Full Platform

  1. Opportunities

  2. Events

  3. Volunteering

  4. Partnerships

Let’s take a closer look.

Opportunities

Click on the Opportunities to review all volunteer opportunities from various angle including: active, active over a time period, total hours overall, total hours by opportunity, completion rates, types of skills deployed, causes served, participation rates and locations.

To search, review and select data (using the controls): simply adjust your filters by clicking on group/sub-group, date range, opportunity source and individual opportunities then entering / selecting the relevant information..

Events

Select Events to review volunteer activity across any or all the events you have created across any time period. Review: all opportunities, opportunities over time, total opportunity hours, total hours by event, opportunity completion rate, skills and cause by opportunity in addition to participation and location.

To search, review and select data (using the controls): simply adjust your filters by clicking group/subgroup, date range and event then entering / selecting the relevant information..

Volunteering

Select Volunteering to display your social impact value, how it’s changed over time, even how it’s broken down by opportunity, volunteer and events. Find your member status segmented by ‘approved, removed or left’ in addition to ‘registered vs unregistered’ in a graph and also available as CSV download. This page also looks at skills by member, causes of interest as nominated by your volunteers in addition to demographics such as age, gender and location.

Partnerships

Select Partnerships to view reports on the number of partners you’re connected with, the number of opportunities shared across any date range (which you can set), which organisation type they are (community group, business, charity, education provider etc), causes they support and an interactive map showing where they are located.
