How do I fundraise for a Be Collective group as an individual?
This article shows individual users how to fundraise for another group on Be Collective.
If you've found a Be Collective group or event that takes donations and you'd like to support their fundraising efforts beyond making a donation, you can share their donations panel to your personal Be Collective profile.
Fundraise as an individual
- Open the donations panel you'd like to share (on the group's or event's public page)
- Click Learn more next to Want to help us raise money?
A pop-up opens where you can configure your fundraiser.
- Select the profile you'd like to fundraise from — if you use Be Collective only for volunteering, you will only be able to fundraise from your personal profile

Set a personal fundraising target
Enter a Thank you message (included in the automated email sent to anyone who donates through your fundraiser)
Tell people why you're fundraising on behalf of the group
Check the box to acknowledge that you understand you're fundraising for another organisation and not you/your group
Click DONE to launch your fundraiser
Your fundraiser will now be shown on your personal Be Collective profile page. Any Be Collective user with visibility of your profile page will be able to make donations here, which will be sent automatically to the group taking donations.
